FAQs
Getting started
Yes, and it is who the studio was built for. Every member starts with an assessment and a program written for their current capability, and every movement is coached before load is added. Most people who feel intimidated by gyms are surprised by how ordinary everyone here is.
It is the entry point to 6X: a free consultation, an InBody body composition scan, a program written for you, and four weeks of coached training so you can see how the system works before choosing a longer-term membership.
No. That is like cleaning the house before the cleaner arrives. Your coach sets a starting point from where you actually are and builds from there.
Training shoes, comfortable clothing, a water bottle and a towel. Arrive ten minutes early so your coach can show you around and talk through the plan.
FAQs
Training and sessions
Max8 group sessions are capped at eight people. The cap exists so the coach can watch every rep, correct technique and set individual loads rather than calling out one weight for the room.
Your coach will recommend a frequency you can genuinely sustain, usually somewhere between two and four sessions a week to start. Consistency at three sessions beats an ambitious five-day plan you abandon in a fortnight.
Members with swipe-key access can train daily from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. Coached sessions and front-desk support are available during staffed hours: Monday to Friday 5:30 am to 8:30 pm and Saturday 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
In most cases yes, with the program adjusted around it. Tell your coach at your assessment, and if you are under the care of a physiotherapist or other health professional we will work within their guidance. Get medical clearance first if you are unsure.
Members book through the 6X Training PRO app or with the team at the front desk during staffed hours. Your first sessions are booked during your Kickstart consultation.
FAQs
Measuring progress
A body composition scan on the studio InBody 570. It separates fat mass from skeletal muscle, breaks lean mass down limb by limb, and reports visceral fat and total body water. It shows what the bathroom scale cannot.
Most members scan every four to eight weeks. That is long enough for real change to appear and short enough to correct a plan that is not working before months are wasted.
Then the plan changes. Stalled numbers are information, not failure. Your coach will look at training volume, nutrition, sleep and stress before simply telling you to try harder.
FAQs
Memberships and payments
Options range from group-training memberships through to personal training packages, with gym access and Recovery Suite access included at various levels. The membership options page sets out what each one includes, and your coach recommends the right fit at your consultation.
Membership terms are explained in full before you sign anything, and the current terms and conditions are published on the site. Ask at your consultation and you will get a straight answer rather than fine print.
Contact the team on 1800 564 669 or email frontdesk@6x.com.au. Notice periods and any applicable conditions are set out in the terms and conditions and in your membership agreement.
Refunds are handled under the published refund policy and your consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law. If something has gone wrong, call the studio and talk to us first.
FAQs
Recovery, NDIS and other services
An infrared sauna, a cold plunge ice bath and compression boots, all on site at 319 Malabar Road. Your coach will advise how to use them around your training rather than at random.
Yes, for self-managed and plan-managed participants. 6X Training is not a registered NDIS provider, so agency-managed plan funds cannot be used here. Confirm with your plan manager or support coordinator before booking.
Yes. Calorie and protein targets are set from your InBody results and reviewed as your body composition changes. This is general nutrition coaching for healthy adults, not clinical dietetics or medical nutrition therapy.
Yes. Scans are available to members and non-members. Call 1800 564 669 to book a time.
