Small Group Training in MaroubraCapped at Eight People

Coached sessions with real programming, real technique correction and a group small enough that the trainer knows your name, your loads and your goals.

  • Maximum eight people
  • Qualified trainer in every session
  • Beginners scaled, not skipped

Why the cap matters

Eight is the number where coaching is still possible.

In a class of twenty-five, the instructor is running the room. Nobody is watching your hip position on a deadlift, nobody notices that your left shoulder is doing something it should not, and nobody adjusts the weight you picked because it was the closest one to hand.

With eight people, the coach can move through the room, correct technique on the spot and change loads for individuals rather than announcing one number for everyone. You get the energy of training with other people and most of the attention of one-on-one coaching.

Max8 sessions follow structured programming that progresses week to week, so the sessions are not a random collection of hard work. They build in the same direction your personal training does.

What a session covers

  • Coached warm-up appropriate to the day's work
  • Programmed strength work with individual load selection
  • Conditioning built around the session goal, not just fatigue
  • Technique correction and movement modifications as needed
  • Core and accessory work to support the main lifts
  • Cool-down and guidance on recovery between sessions

Who it suits

Members who want coaching and company in the same hour.

Beginners who want structure

Every movement has a scaled version. You are shown what to do, corrected while you do it, and progressed when you are ready rather than on a fixed timetable.

Members who train better with others

Booked sessions with familiar faces are far harder to skip than an open gym floor. That is a large part of why members stay consistent here.

People already doing personal training

Max8 adds coached volume between one-on-one sessions, so your week has more quality training in it without the cost of training one-on-one every time.

Anyone chasing strength and conditioning

Programming covers strength, cardio, endurance, mobility and core work across the week rather than repeating one style until it stops working.

Returning after a break

Loads start where you are now. The coach knows your history and will hold you back before letting you do too much in the first fortnight.

Busy schedules

Sessions are fixed, coached and finished on time, which makes them easy to book around work, school runs and shift patterns.

How Max8 fits the coaching system

Group sessions do not replace your plan. They deliver it.

Personal training sets your direction: your assessment, your program and your technique work. Max8 is where a lot of the weekly volume happens, coached and supervised, at a lower cost than training one-on-one every session.

Because your program lives with the studio rather than with one trainer, the coach running your Max8 session can see what you are working on. Your InBody results, your loads and your limitations follow you into the room.

Session times and the weekly timetable change from term to term. Current members see live times in the 6X Training PRO app, and the front desk can confirm the current schedule during staffed hours.

Common questions

Max8 group training, answered.

Sessions are capped at eight. That cap is the whole point: it is small enough for the coach to watch every rep, correct technique and adjust loads for each person in the room.
