Kate Aldwell
The story behind the numbers
Kate was the first winner of the 6X Everest Challenge. She has been with 6X for over six years, and her most recent challenge was training through pregnancy.
At six months postpartum she is fitter and stronger than ever. During the challenge she recorded the fastest time in her coach's trainer challenge at 22:28, finished top five in the Death Zone challenge and ticked off every Sherpa challenge alongside her training partner and sister, Shannon.
She also pushed well outside her comfort zone with mini challenges including the ice bath, and finished the period 2.5 kg lighter, one visceral point down, over 8 cm smaller across her measurements and with a 55 kg 3RM bench press personal best.
Kate Aldwell’s results are individual and are not a guarantee of the outcome any other member will achieve. Results depend on your starting point, attendance, effort, nutrition, sleep and health.
